I built this brand during one of the darkest chapters of my life.
There was a time when I felt invisible, like no matter what I did, it was never enough to be truly seen. I believed that if I made people feel good, did things for them, gave and gave… I’d finally be accepted, appreciated even. But what I found was that most people didn’t care for me. They cared for what I could give. I was just a ghost in the room. Always present, never acknowledged.
My mental health started to decay.
So I named my brand after that feeling: Dekayed.
But through this journey building this from the ground up, connecting with all of you, I’ve learned something powerful.
No matter how lost you feel, how broken,
or unworthy you think you are…
You still hold value. You still matter.
You’re still alive. And to someone out there, you’re a role model.
You all helped me realize that.
